Britta Cabanos is the founder of Inside Fashion Design (ifd), a global platform dedicated to empowering apparel designers and creatives through education, community, and industry connection. With over 25 years of experience spanning design leadership at Nike Swim, Champion, Oakley, DKNY, Tommy Hilfiger, and Perry Ellis International, and as the co-founder of a Design Consulting firm that served SME's for over 10 years, as well as founding her own swim collection sold to Victoria's Secret and boutiques across the USA. Britta brings deep, real-world expertise to everything she builds. In 2017, she channeled that experience into ifd, and later launched the Conscious Fashion Design Academy, an online learning platform where designers can learn directly from working industry professionals.
Today, she also serves as Creative Director in partnership with The Sustainability Laboratory, & producing conscious fashion events at the intersection of design, sustainability, and social impact. Britta's work lives where creativity, education, and purpose meet — fostering a fashion industry that is more informed, connected, and conscious. Her mission remains the same: to elevate fashion design from the inside out.
