Jamie Skinner

The Confident Ledger™

Jamie Skinner is the founder of The Confident Ledger™, helping female founders find the financial, operational, and compliance blind spots hiding behind their “everything seems fine” outlook. Through her advisory work, Jamie helps founders understand what their numbers, systems, team dynamics, and business processes are really telling them, before small issues turn into expensive mistakes. Her work blends accounting expertise, founder-level strategy, and systems-first thinking, allowing business owners to make better decisions without getting buried in spreadsheets or jargon.

After a decade working in corporate accounting and another decade directly supporting growing businesses through cleanups, accrual conversions, cash flow questions, compliance concerns, and financial reporting chaos, Jamie now focuses on helping women-led businesses build the awareness and structure they need to lead with more confidence and less overwhelm. Her core belief: you can outsource the work, but you can’t outsource the awareness. The most valuable financial support often starts long before the answers by helping founders ask better questions.
