Founders Weekend Terms & Conditions

In consideration of being permitted to participate in and attend Founders Weekend and the value you will gain by participating in the event, you hereby agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms are entered into between you (hereinafter “you” or the “Ticket Holder”) and Entreprenista Media, LLC (hereinafter “Entreprenista”, “Company”, “we” or “us”). You and the Company are collectively referred to herein as the “Parties”.

ALL SALES FINAL / NO REFUNDS, NO EXCHANGES, NO REPLACEMENTS. All events, prices, personalities, performances, venues, dates and times are subject to change without notice. All sales are final. This ticket will not be replaced, refunded or exchanged for any reason. Each person must have a ticket for admission to Founders Weekend. Entreprenista reserves the right to refuse admission and to revoke the ticket at any time.

TICKET OPTIONS. Entreprenista offers two types of tickets for Founders Weekend: 1) General Admission Experience, and 2) VIP All-Access. Details on what is included for each type of ticket can be found by navigating to this link.

SAFETY AND SECURITY. Your safety and security are important to us. You understand that you and your property may be subject to a reasonable search upon entry to Founders Weekend and you may be asked to provide photo identification. If you refuse to participate in these security measures, we may deny you entry. We also reserve the right to ask you to leave the event if your behavior causes us concern for the safety or security of event attendees. If we deny you entry or require you to leave, you will not receive a refund of any payments made in connection with the event.

LIMITATION OR LIABILITY. Entreprenista and all their affiliates assume no responsibility and shall have no liability for any injury, damage to or loss to Ticket Holder’s person or property while on the premises. Ticket Holder voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, where occurring prior to, during or after the event.

INDEMNIFICATION. Ticket Holder agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold Entreprenista and its affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, managers, employees, volunteers, contractors, suppliers, and representatives harmless from and against any and all claims, demands and all other liabilities, including, without limitation, costs and attorneys’ fees, made by any third party arising out of or in connection with Ticket Holder’s participation in the events at Founders Weekend.

NO WARRANTIES. EXCEPT AS MAY BE EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THESE TERMS, TICKET HOLDER’S PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENTS AT FOUNDERS WEEKEND, AND ALL SERVICES AND PRODUCTS PROVIDED IN CONNECTION WITH THE EVENTS, ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. ENTREPRENISTA EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS OR CONDITIONS, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SECURITY, RELIABILITY, INTEGRATION, SAFETY, OR ANY WARRANTIES THAT MAY ARISE FROM COURSE OF DEALING. ENTREPRENISTA EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTIES NOT EXPRESSLY STATED HEREIN AND HAS MADE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES TO TICKET HOLDER ABOUT THE SUITABILITY, CONDITION OR SAFETY OF THE FOUNDERS WEEKEND EVENTS, DIGITAL TRANSMISSION OF THE EVENTS, YOUR ABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE ENTREPRENISTA’S CONTENT OR SERVICES, ANY EQUIPMENT PROVIDED BY ENTREPRENISTA OR ITS VENDORS, ENTREPRENISTA SERVICES OR PRODUCTS SUPPLIED AS PART OF THE FOUNDERS WEEKEND EVENTS OR THAT THE EVENTS, INCLUDING ANY STREAMING, WILL OPERATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION OR BE ERROR FREE.

INCLEMENT WEATHER / OTHER LOSS Entreprenista shall have no responsibility, financial or otherwise, for event cancellation or interruption due to inclement weather or other acts beyond its control. Entreprenista shall not refund for cancellation due to inclement weather or other acts beyond its control. Entreprenista is not responsible for lost or stolen articles at Founders Weekend.

CANCELLATION POLICY. Please note that no refunds or discounts will be given for late arrivals, early departures, flight cancellations, travel delays, or illness. If you cancel your participation for any reason, the following cancellation policy will apply, without exceptions. We would like to compensate individuals who have unforeseen situations (illness, family causes, emergencies, etc.); however, we have costs that are already assumed when you register to attend the Event. To better protect yourself, we strongly advise you to purchase travel insurance. If you are unable to attend Founders Weekend, we will not issue any credits or a refund of your registration fee. If we cancel Founders Weekend at any time for reasons including, for example, availability or suitability of venue or on security, health, or safety grounds, we may deny, limit, or cancel your registration at any time. We are not responsible for any damages, direct or indirect, resulting from such cancellation. If we cancel the event for any other reason not contemplated by these Terms, and you are in compliance with these Terms, we will issue you a refund of your event registration fee, if applicable. However, we will not reimburse you for any travel or flight expenses you have booked to attend the event. In the unlikely situation that the event must be canceled due to a natural disaster or political unrest, we will not be able to guarantee a refund, as it will depend on whether we receive a refund from the vendors and companies we work with. To cover these risks, we recommend that you purchase travel insurance through a third party.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY RELEASE. You grant us, our affiliates, and our independent contractors the right to record, film, photograph, and capture your voice and image in any media at the event (the “Recordings”). You grant and assign to us an irrevocable, nonexclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right and license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and translate, for any purpose relating to Entreprenista’s business, all or any part of the Recordings. We may edit the Recordings, use them alone or together with other information, and allow others to use and disseminate them. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you waive any rights you may have in the Recordings. By participating in and attending the event, you agree that we may derive information from recordings of your voice and images of your face and retain and use all resulting information. You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights and permissions to grant the license discussed herein.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY. All content created and presented by Entreprenista at Founders Weekend is owned exclusively by Entreprenista. Ticket Holders are encouraged to post about Founders Weekend for their networks, but may not repurpose any such materials for commercial use without prior written approval from Entreprenista.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. There will be alcoholic beverages onsite – both complimentary during certain portions of the event and available for purchase. No one under the age of 21 will be served alcoholic beverages. Please bring a valid government-issued photo identification, such as a driver’s license or passport, for proof of age. Guests and attendees will be asked to show proof of age. By consuming any alcoholic beverages, you confirm that you are over 21 years of age.

ALLERGY DISCLAIMER. If we provide snacks and meals during the event, any attendees with food allergies must make us and any applicable third party preparing or serving any food, aware of any allergens and the severity of them. We are not certified nutritionists or registered dieticians. You agree that we are not and will not be liable or responsible for any allergic reactions or other injury as a result of your participation and attendance at the event.

HEALTH + SAFETY. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. By attending this event, you expressly agree to comply with any and all rules and safety guidelines put in place by the event organizers, and voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, waiving all claims and potential claims against the event organizers and their affiliated companies & parties relating to such risks. Event organizers are NOT requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test to attend the event. This is subject to change based on CDC and government mandates. Ticket Holder agrees to abide by health + safety requirements put in place at the event and understands that policies and procedures are subject to change based on government mandates.

​​MEDICAL TREATMENT. You hereby consent to receive medical treatment deemed necessary if you are injured or require medical attention during your attendance at the event. It is your responsibility to inform the event staff if you have any injury. You understand and agree that you are solely responsible for all costs related to such medical treatment and any related medical transportation and/or evacuation. You hereby release, forever discharge, and hold harmless Entreprenista from any claim based on such treatment or other medical services. We accept no responsibility for any illness, personal injury or death caused to you or a fellow event participant or attendee.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY FOR THIRD PARTIES. We have no liability for any acts, omissions, or defaults, negligent or otherwise, of airlines, car rental operators, ferry companies, hoteliers, tour operators, or any other suppliers. We have no liability for any loss or damage caused by the negligence, act, or omission of any supplier or other third party. We reserve the right to cancel or modify itineraries or reservations when circumstances require it. In circumstances where our liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the event.

WEAPONS-FREE POLICY. Founders Weekend is a private event and attendees are not permitted to carry weapons of any kind, or anything that may be construed to be a weapon, onto the premises of any official Founders Weekend events. Entreprenista reserves the right to require anyone who violates this policy to immediately leave the premises of any official Founders Weekend event.

CODE OF CONDUCT. Founders Weekend is not a place for behavior that is inappropriate, off-topic, disruptive, abusive, or illegal. Entreprenista defines inappropriate behavior as conduct or action that violates Entreprenista’s policies or protocols (including those pertaining to health and safety), or undermines the spirit of Founders Weekend, including any form of written, verbal or physical abuse or threats, illegal or disruptive activity, the use of derogatory or discriminatory language, gestures or actions, any form of harassment, racism, sexism, or any other targeted comments which may violate any local, state or federal laws or cause harm to another Founders Weekend Ticket Holder, whether before, during or after the Founders Weekend events. Entreprenista may take action in its discretion to address any individual(s) or group(s) it believes fail to meet the standards set forth in this Code of Conduct, including, without limitation, revoking the violating parties’ ticket without refund.

CHOICE OF LAW AND EXCLUSIVE VENUE AND JURISDICTION. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its principles of conflicts of laws. You agree that any Claim that has arisen or may arise between you and Entreprenista must be resolved exclusively by a state or federal court located in Palm Beach, Florida, in a case brought in your individual capacity and not in any representative capacity or as a class action. Both you and Entreprenista agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction to a court of competent jurisdiction located in Palm Beach, Florida for the purpose of litigating all such Claims or disputes.

COMMUNICATIONS. By purchasing a ticket you agree to receive email communications from Entreprenista related to Founders Weekend and for general marketing purposes.

UPDATES TO THE TERMS. Entreprenista reserves the right to make changes to the Terms as posted, so be sure to check back and review the Terms from time to time prior to purchase. Any dispute between you and Entreprenista will be governed by the Terms agreed to at the time of your purchase or, if you have made no purchase, at the time of your participation or application.

GENERAL PROVISIONS. Nothing in these Terms establishes an agency, partnership or joint venture between the parties, or relationship of employer or employee, between the parties (or between either party and the other party’s personnel). In the event that any term or provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect, such invalidity, illegality or unenforceability will not affect any other term or provision hereof (which will remain in effect), and the parties agree thereafter to use their best efforts to substitute a provision of similar economic intent and effect.

WAIVER. The failure by us to enforce any provision of these Terms will not constitute a present or future waiver of such provision nor limit our right to enforce such provision at a later time. All waivers by us must be in writing to be effective.

SEVERABILITY. If any portion of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining portions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect. Any invalid or unenforceable portions will be interpreted to effect and intent of the original portion. If such construction is not possible, the invalid or unenforceable portion will be severed from these Terms, but the rest will remain in full force and effect.
