December 4, 2025
Please share a brief introduction and your business:
I am Shivani, a brand marketer for over 2 decades, Founder of TBF, and a Keynote speaker. Think Brand Forward exists to move entrepreneurs from chasing visibility to creating memorability - because perception built on purpose lasts.
Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?
No, it happened along the way as life experiences shaped me.
Are you a mamaprenista?
Make your children a part of how you do things.
Take us back to when you launched? What was your marketing strategy?
Moving to a new country, creating from scratch, and gaining connections and projects along the way have been a real eye-opener. My marketing was/is based on connection and network - people are the biggest wealth you can build along.
What accomplishments are you the most proud of to date in your business?
Currently working with a non-profit that gives back and creates an impact on the lives of people - I am most proud of this.
What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?
Articulating what you NEED.
When hiring, what is your go-to interview question?
What tools are you good with? Favorite memory at work so far.
What did you go before starting your own business?
Over 2 decades of brand marketing with Brands like VANS, DIAGEO out of INDIA. Moving to the USA has made me want to create the same brand to work with women business owners.
What made you take the leap to start your own business?
Changing countries, working in alignment with my core values - Freedom, flexibility, and Purpose and meaning.
Do you have any recent wins?
Working with a non-profit that gives back and creates an impact on the lives of people - I am most proud of this.
What's one app on your phone that you cannot live without?
Instagram - addicted. Not proud.
Who are your customers?
Bootstrapped Women founders, early-stage product-based business owners, community builders, and anyone building something with purpose, heart, and ambition.
What's your top productivity tip?
Use a place like Notion to get all your business needs in one place and use that like a CEO dashboard for the things that are moving the needle forward.
What's your favorite business tool?
Notion - It's the best place if you are a solopreneur. It's my CEO dashboard and my place for keeping myself accountable.
What's your approach to work-life balance?
Plan in Advance and make it happen.
How do you avoid burn-out?
Take a break before I burn out. Short term - Peloton, short walk. Long term - Give myself a day doing something very different, like a learning class with my ukulele, long lunch with a friend.
What advice do you have for aspiring Entreprenistas?
