Please share a brief introduction and your business:

Hello! I am a 30 year Fashion Industry Pro; Now supporting and mentoring creatives through industry insights, education, events & community

Are you a mamaprenista?

Yes, but my kids are now in college. Looking back, we had a sitter that stayed late one night a week- that one night was for my husband and I to either go out together, or catch up on errands- no kids, no cooking, just a few extra hours for ourselves

Take us back to when you launched? What was your marketing strategy?

I hired a website and marketing person- the website build went good, but I didn't get any ROI on the marketing side- felt like a waste of time and money

Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

Yes- I was born an entrepreneur- since childhood was always setting up my own business

What accomplishments are you the most proud of to date in your business?

building the website and its content, which includes on-demand educational videos and valuable resources for fashion industry creatives and hosting events that are growing in attendance

What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?

I wish I knew about you sooner!

When hiring, what is your go-to interview question?

Why do you feel you are a good fit for us?

What did you do before starting your own business?

Worked in the fashion industry for both small and large corporations, from mass market, to designer to athletic apparel design

What made you take the leap to start your own business?

After working for others for 20 years, took the leap and finally went out on my own

Do you have any recent wins?

Have been asked by Unique Fashion Foundation to be their Panel Moderator, in NYC & Paris

What's one app on your phone that you cannot live without?

youtube- because anything I want to learn about, I can find there

Who are your customers?

I work with fashion industry designers and founders who care about sustainability, creativity, and mental wellness—and want to build careers and brands that actually last.

What's your top productivity tip?

I call it "chunk it out", meaning, break down tasks into smaller chunks- even setting an amount of time to work on that chunk, then take a break and go to the next one. I also like to pick my top 3 things to achieve in a day- so I stay focused on what really needs to get done.

What's your favorite business tool?

Canva- I use it for everything

What's your approach to work-life balance?

Taking breaks from devices- sometimes it may be an evening off, or might be a complete weekend day off- taking that time to focus on my family and doing other things I enjoy

How do you avoid burn-out?

I wasn't able to do this until covid hit- thats when i realized i was burning the candle at both ends- now working from home, I take breaks, go to my gym classes, treat myself to a sauna, meditation, and taking my dogs to the dog park in the afternoons- being outside as much as possible
