Please share a brief introduction about yourself and your business
I looked good from the outside, grandma, mom, great paying job but on the inside I was miserable. I was stressed, anxious and worried all the time. *Then I invested in myself. I learned I was worthy, beautiful and that it was possible to have a life I loved. I now have peace and serenity, with much less stress. *I want to help others have the same shift. To go from stressed to blessed. Everyone deserves to be happy, to see their beauty and potential (have their dreams come alive)!
Who are your customers?
Professional Women experiencing stress and burnout
What was your background prior to starting your own business?
Director for a very successful Fast Food franchisee managing business and people for a large region. In charge of manager training and multiple projects.
What made you take the leap to start your own business?
I was so miserable and my program helped me so much that I want to help others see that same potential and beauty in themselves.
What is the biggest challenge you have encountered along the way so far and what have you learned from it?
My biggest challenge has been being consistent. And I have learned that it is ok to miss a day or two, but to get back on track right away. And to be kind to myself in the process as the goal is progress not perfection.
What accomplishment are the most proud of to date in your business?
My accomplishment I am most proud of is just getting my content out on social media. I am now doing reels as well as posts and the occasional workshop.
Do you have any recent wins from the last year that you'd like to celebrate with our community?
My most recent win was from a lady by the name of Ann that told me how much my post had helped her when she had had a bad day because she remembered my post and changed her focus to the nice sunny day instead of all the problems that was happening and that little change was all it took to make her day better. My post was about seeing the joy in the moments, I had seen a beautiful sunset and just soaked in the beauty.
What's next for your business? What can we expect to see over the next few years?
I will be having speaking engagements, motivational events, publishing my book and helping my clients find their beauty and potential!
What is your top productivity tip?
set time limits for each project and sticking to those time limits - protect your schedule
On the flip side, how do you avoid burnout?
Schedule in fun just like you would schedule in a doctor's appointment. Protect your time by turning off your phone during family meals and during important conversations. Set phone notifications to a schedule. Self-care is so important to avoid burnout and part of that is getting enough sleep!
What is your approach to work-life balance / integration?
The best advice I was ever given was when work time is over, stop work! Don't just say 10 more minutes, that turns into 2 more hours. And also, the reverse is true when play time is over, stop! Get your sleep!
What's the one app on your phone you absolutely cannot live without and why?
Insight Timer it has all the meditations I use on a daily basis
What is your favorite business tool or solution and why?
Chat GPT it just helps in so many ways to give me ideas of what I want to say and how to say it better
