Elsa Boutaric on Building Strategic Style with ElsaBStyling
January 6, 2026
Please share a brief introduction and your business:
I’m Elsa Boutaric, founder of ElsaBStyling, a luxury wardrobe strategy consultancy. Originally from Paris, I’m now based in Miami, with professional experience working between London, New York, and international markets. I work with a select clientele of entrepreneurs, executives, and high-level professionals worldwide, helping them build a strategic signature style that supports their leadership, lifestyle, and personal brand.
Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?
I’ve always been entrepreneurial in mindset. Even before formally launching my business, I naturally operated independently, built my own network, and created opportunities rather than waiting for them. Founding my own company was a natural evolution.
Do you have a co-founder?
I’m a solo founder. That has allowed me to maintain a clear vision, strong brand consistency, and decision-making agility. My approach to partnerships is highly selective, alignment in values, standards, and long-term vision is non-negotiable.
Are you a mamaprenista?
Yes. My biggest advice is to build systems and boundaries early. You can be deeply present as a mother and ambitious as a founder, but not by doing everything yourself. Support, structure, and prioritization are not luxuries; they are necessities.
Take us back to when you launched? What was your marketing strategy?
Initially, my growth was driven almost entirely by word of mouth, referrals, and private networks. I focused on delivering exceptional results for a small number of clients rather than mass marketing. It didn’t go “as planned” in the traditional sense it grew more organically and more selectively, which ultimately shaped the premium positioning of the brand.
What accomplishments are you the most proud of to date in your business?
Building a reputation that attracts high-level clients globally through trust and results alone. Many of my clients stay with me long-term, across cities and life phases, which is the strongest validation of the work I do.
What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?
That clarity and positioning matter more than speed. Early on, it’s tempting to say yes to everything, but real growth came when I became very clear about who I serve, how I serve them, and why my work is different. Selectivity is not a limitation, it’s a growth strategy.
When hiring, what is your go-to interview question?
I always ask: “How do you make decisions when there is no clear answer?”
I work in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment, so I look for people who can think independently, take ownership, and operate with discretion. Skills can be taught; judgment and mindset cannot.
What did you go before starting your own business?
My background is rooted in luxury, fashion, and international markets. I trained and worked across major global cities, developing a deep understanding of high-end client service, personal branding, and the nuances of working with demanding, high-level individuals across cultures.
What made you take the leap to start your own business?
I saw a clear gap in the market: highly successful people didn’t need more clothes—they needed clarity, strategy, and simplicity. I wanted to create a business that went beyond traditional styling and offered a truly strategic, high-touch service tailored to people operating at the highest levels.
Do you have any recent wins?
Over the past year, I’ve refined my high-ticket private client model, expanded my international client base, and strengthened long-term memberships with entrepreneurs and executives who see wardrobe strategy as part of their overall success strategy.
What's one app on your phone that you cannot live without?
My calendar. Time is my most valuable asset, and I’m very intentional about how it’s allocated, both professionally and personally.
Who are your customers?
My clients are entrepreneurs, founders, executives, and high-net-worth individuals who value discretion, efficiency, and long-term impact. They are global, time-constrained, and understand that personal image is a strategic asset—not a trend or a one-off service.
What's your top productivity tip?
I prioritize ruthlessly. Not everything deserves immediate attention. I structure my days around high-impact work, protect deep-focus time, and limit decision fatigue by simplifying everything that can be systemized.
What's your favorite business tool?
Systems that simplify decision-making. From scheduling to client management, anything that removes friction and allows me to focus on strategy and high-level client work is essential.
What's your approach to work-life balance?
I think in terms of integration rather than balance. My work and life are aligned, not competing. Clear boundaries, flexibility, and intentional choices allow both to coexist without constant friction.
How do you avoid burn-out?
By respecting my energy as much as my time. I build recovery into my schedule, set boundaries around availability, and regularly reassess what truly requires my involvement.
What advice do you have for aspiring Entreprenistas?
Build something aligned with your values and the life you want not just what looks good from the outside. Be patient, be selective, and don’t underestimate the power of positioning. Sustainable success is built intentionally.
