Heather Lillico Helps Burnt-Out Founders Rewire Their Nervous Systems

The former nutritionist burnt out building her nutrition business, and the tools that brought her back to calm now anchor her coaching for women founders.

October 15, 2026

Heather Lillico led a 15-minute nervous system reset at a recent conference. Within a few minutes of finishing, her calendar was booked for weeks. They had felt what calm was like, and they wanted to learn how to make it their baseline.

Heather Lillico is the founder and CEO of Heather Lillico Coaching, where she teaches women founders who feel overwhelmed, stressed, and burnt out how to rewire their nervous systems. She has worked in coaching for about a decade, starting as a nutritionist, and she is a member of the Entreprenista League. Her newest program, The Exhale, gives the work a 90-day structure.

“I turned my pain into purpose,” Heather says.

A nutrition practice that ran around the clock

Heather’s first business was nutrition coaching, and she ran it at full speed. Clients texted her at all hours, and she answered right away. She could not slow down, relax, or set boundaries, and her own health slid to the back burner.

“I had no life. I was always thinking about the next step to grow,” she says.

Eventually she was so exhausted she wanted to stop coaching, and she knew she had hit her breaking point. She realized her nervous system was stuck in fight or flight. Once she rewired it toward calm, she felt at ease and was able to build the business, and she started teaching other women to do the same.

Founders who love what they do

Her clients are women founders who love their work and are ready to reach their next level without the hustle and grind. She teaches them to show up calm, grounded, and decisive as they build their legacy.

“I see so many incredible women who want to have an impact in the world, but some days they question if they can continue because it all feels so overwhelming,” she says. “These are the people I’m meant to serve!”

Her work starts with safety. She creates a space where transformation can happen and teaches women to find a sense of safety inside themselves, often for the first time. “Only from a safe place can you create the level of impact you desire,” she says.

The Exhale and a calmer baseline

The Exhale is a 90-day program for women founders who want to rewire for a calm, grounded presence. It is the culmination of several years spent refining her framework, a structured process that moves women out of overwhelm and survival mode.

One founder Heather coached came to her feeling stuck, struggling with consistency, follow-through, and holding herself back from the people she wanted to help. After working together, she found a sense of ease and started loving life again. She also gained a new confidence in her business and personal life, and she stays grounded in moments that used to leave her reactive.

How you do one thing is how you do everything

It's Heather’s motto, and it shows up first in the integrity she keeps. She meditates every day, partly because it regulates her and feels good. “The act of showing up for myself every day in small ways translates into greater self-trust and being able to show up for myself in the bigger ways,” she says.

Growth tests that practice. Every new level of her business has brought new responsibility and new stress, and she meets it with the same tools she teaches. “I walk the walk every day and practice what I teach,” she says.

Bigger leaps and retreats for founders

Looking back, Heather wishes she had been more decisive at the start. Decisions took her a long time, and that slowed her growth. “Now I take big leaps and bet on myself,” she says.

Her advice for founders waiting for life to calm down is to start with themselves. “Growth is always going to feel uncomfortable,” she says. “We always spend time on what we value, so by prioritizing yourself you’re demonstrating you value yourself!”

In the coming years she will launch retreats for women founders, immersive experiences where true nervous system resets can happen. She wants women to leave calm, refreshed, and with a renewed passion for what they are building.
