Julie Cyvonne Traded Law for a Microdosing Practice
The former attorney now leads structured microdosing protocols and guided ceremonies for women founders who have run out of room to push harder.

“I had tried everything for my anxiety and depression, and nothing worked until psychedelics,” Julie Cyvonne says. By then, she had practiced law for 3 years, passed the California bar, and was on her way into a new practice area before she walked away from it all.
Julie Cyvonne is a certified coach and psychedelic facilitator, and the founder of Julie Cyvonne, LLC, the Kansas City, Missouri practice where she leads structured microdosing protocols, one-to-one mentorship, and full ceremonies for women founders. She has grown it into a multiple 6-figure business. A member of the Entreprenista League, she is now writing a comprehensive guide to microdosing.
“I teach women who are crushing it in their businesses and careers how to use psychedelics intentionally and integratively to beat burnout once and for all,” Julie says.
The bar card she earned and the career she left
“I was always pushed ‘get a good education and a high-paying job’ growing up,” Julie says. She followed it into law school, passed the California bar, and spent 3 years in practice, where she is barred in multiple jurisdictions.
The credentials looked right. What she felt underneath was harder to explain away. She names both as reasons she left: “my crippling anxiety and depression and the realization that I never loved being a lawyer.” She had already tried therapy and everything else on offer. Psychedelics were what finally shifted things for her.
How her work is structured
Julie works primarily with psilocybin and LSD, in both microdosing and macrodosing. Most of her coaching runs on microdosing protocols paired with a life-first approach to growth. She also hosts retreats and ceremonies where women take a full dose in a guided setting with integration support built in for after they go home.
Integration is where she puts the weight. “All of my work centers around integration, pulling the thread through from the breakthroughs into your day-to-day life,” she says.
Who she works with
Her clients are women founders between 32 and 48 running brick-and-mortar, product, and service businesses with employees, a lease, inventory, or walk-in clients. By every external measure, they are doing well. Underneath, they are running on empty.
“They’re stressed, drained, snapping at people they love, and can’t turn their brain off,” Julie says. Most arrive having already tried therapy, coaching, and pushing harder. They come to her curious about microdosing and looking for someone credible, which is where her law degree and research habits earn their keep.
A client testimonial
One woman Julie worked with was seriously contemplating ending her own life. Julie did not know it at the time. The woman told her once their work together had ended that she felt like a 7 or 8 out of 10 every day.
“She’s a mom to two little boys, and I’m so happy they continue to have her in their lives day after day,” Julie says. It is the first thing she mentions when she is asked what she is proudest of.
Success on her terms
Last year knocked her around. “I outsourced a lot of my power listening to gurus and online experts,” she says. This year she changed the input and started listening to herself, her nervous system, and her human design instead.
The results showed up fast. As of August, she has already grossed more in 2026 than she did in 2024, her best year in business so far. “More success on my own terms,” she says.
Julie has let go of tasks that felt productive but did nothing for the business, and instead spends her hours on the work she knows moves the needle.
What’s next
Her book is in progress. It’s a comprehensive guide to microdosing, and she is lining up more podcasts and more stages.
Her advice for founders in the early, invisible part is about showing up in rooms with other women. “Connect. Share your Calendly, and book time with others. Comment, post, put yourself out there,” she says. On the harder days, she comes back to one line. “The story is only over when you stop writing it. Keep going.”
