Justine Asante Founded Glamorous Goddess Coaching for Overextended Leaders

Her clients are the women everything runs through, and her work gives them language for what it costs.

September 9, 2026

“I kept going, because I was still functioning,” Justine Asante says. “But I began to ask myself a more honest question: Was functioning the same thing as being well?” She met every expectation while her health and her closest relationships absorbed the strain. From the outside, nothing looked like it was falling apart.

Justine Asante is the founder and CEO of Glamorous Goddess Coaching, a women-centered advisory practice for executives, founders, and senior leaders, and the founder of The Institute for Sustainable Authority. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist and the author of The Quiet Erosion of Power.

A member of the Entreprenista League, she spent 15 years watching responsibility collect around the most reliable woman in the room.

“I want women to develop sustainable authority before their health, relationships, or sense of self are forced to absorb the cost of how they have been leading.”

Her path from senior nonprofit leader to leadership advisor came down to one pattern she could no longer unsee.

The pattern that hides behind success

Justine’s background spans nonprofit leadership, human development, family systems, and partnership strategy. As a senior nonprofit leader, she managed cross-sector initiatives full of competing priorities, funding requirements, and definitions of success. The same thing kept happening.

“I learned that when accountability becomes unclear, responsibility usually moves toward the person most likely to follow through,” she says. “Many times, that person was me.” Stepping in kept the work moving. It also made it easier for the next problem to come back to her.

Her clinical training gave her a second lens. “A person’s behavior does not exist by itself,” she says. “It is shaped by relationships, expectations, identity, and the systems around her.”

Naming it in a book

Publishing The Quiet Erosion of Power is one of her proudest accomplishments. Writing it meant deciding how much of her own story to include, how to protect the people connected to it, and how to stay useful while leaving room for questions with no simple answer.

“There was always another sentence to adjust or another idea I wanted to add,” she says. “At some point, I had to let the book become something women could actually use.”

What the book hands a reader is language. “When a reader recognizes that constant responsibility has been costing her more than she admits, the conversation can finally change,” Justine says.

The women who find her

Her clients are high-achieving women leaders: executives, founders, CEOs, senior managers, and women preparing for greater responsibility. They come to her describing similar symptoms.

“Most do not come to me saying, ‘I have an authority problem,’” she says. “They say their team waits for them to make decisions they should be able to make.” They cannot take a full day away without checking messages. At home, they are tracking appointments, unfinished work, family needs, and the conversation they forgot to return.

They care deeply about their work and the people who rely on them. “They simply know that being needed for everything is no longer a sustainable measure of good leadership,” she says.

Glamorous Goddess Coaching holds the private side of that work through the Harmonious Authority Intensive, a 6-month advisory engagement, and the Harmonious Authority Lab, a 12-week cohort capped at 10 women. The Institute for Sustainable Authority carries it into companies that want to develop and retain women leaders without treating constant availability as proof of commitment.

A year of putting the work in other women’s hands

This past year she launched Glamorous Goddess Coaching, founded The Institute for Sustainable Authority, published the book, and built out the frameworks and assessments underneath both. She was honored as a 2026 Influential Woman, recognized in Marquis Who’s Who in America 2026, and invited to contribute to BRAINZ Magazine.

“Seeing those accomplishments listed together feels different than living them,” she says. Much of the year looked like drafts, revisions, and language she kept changing. “I am learning not to dismiss the quieter part of building simply because it is less visible.”

One week in and already 3 coffee chats

Justine is new to the Entreprenista League, and her first week set the tone. She had 3 coffee chats, attended sessions, and picked up a podcast invitation from another Entreprenista.

“I truly wish I had joined earlier at the start of my entrepreneurial journey,” she says. “The community gives back when you show up, reach out, and follow through.”

Her advice to founders weighing the same step: “Do not join and quietly wait for something to happen,” she says. “Introduce yourself, attend the sessions, schedule the coffee chat, and follow up after a good conversation.”

Growth with intention

Her focus now is growth she can stand behind. Like any founder, she feels the pressure to add offers and move faster, but she's learned to ask whether an opportunity aligns with the work or is simply available. One question keeps coming back: “How do I make the work available to more women without making it feel generic?”

Her current answer is focused cohorts, thoughtful partnerships, practical leadership tools, corporate engagements, and more books. The Institute for Sustainable Authority will grow through leadership assessments, organizational programs, speaking, and research-informed resources.
