Keri Tout Turns Social Media Into Revenue for High-Value Services

The founder of Creative First Digital pairs creative that gets attention with funnels and follow-up that turn it into sales.

October 21, 2026

“What would have to be true to make this work?” Keri Tout put that question to work while finishing college, when she took over operations at a struggling burger joint with a goal of growing sales 400%. She and her team overhauled the brand, the menu, and the supplier agreements, and at the restaurant’s annual music festival they hit a 550% sales increase. She still asks the question every time a campaign stalls.

Keri Tout is the founder and CEO of Creative First Digital, which specializes in social media marketing and lead generation for businesses selling high-value services, from custom closet companies to law firms and birthing centers. She launched in January 2025 as a solo founder, and she is a member of The Entreprenista League. She asks a lot of social media.

“I work with businesses where social becomes their number-one lead source,” Keri says.

Keri has spent the years since that burger joint learning how attention turns into revenue. This is what that looks like now.

An operator’s view of digital marketing

Keri spent 8 years at competitive digital marketing agencies, climbing into management and specializing in paid social. She saw how hundreds of businesses approached marketing, set budgets, and made decisions, along with what helps a strategy succeed beyond the ad account.

She brings an operator’s perspective to every account. “A campaign can generate inexpensive leads and still fail to make the business money,” she says. She follows results through to sales, revenue, and return on investment, and she keeps the strategy simple to understand.

“I want clients to feel confident asking questions and to understand what we’re doing, why we’re doing it, and what their investment is producing,” she says.

Striking gold in a noisy feed

Every campaign starts with the people a business wants to reach: who they are, what makes them a good fit, and what is holding them back. The faces in an ad, the language, and the details all signal who a service is for. “The ad is often the first place a customer decides, ‘This is for someone like me,’” she says. “I build around that decision.”

“There’s a moment when you find the right message for the right customer and think, ‘There it is,’” she says. “After years neck-deep in Meta advertising, that feeling still never gets old.”

When the message lands, conversion rates jump and cost per lead drops. “Once we find that, it gives us a vein of gold to follow through the ads, landing pages, and follow-up,” Keri says.

What happens after someone raises a hand

The next part can make or break the investment. Keri builds funnels that address the questions and hesitations people have not said out loud, make it easy to book, and send timely follow-up automatically so a good lead keeps moving. “Speed to lead matters,” she says.

She watches what happens in sales, too. If people are clicking and hesitating to book, she wants to understand why. If a team keeps answering the same question, that answer becomes material for the next creative test.

A 260% jump in leads for a family-building client

For a client in family-building services, Keri’s latest 6-month period delivered 260% more leads, a 50% increase in click-through rate, and a 60% reduction in cost per lead compared with the previous 6 months. Paid Meta ads drove almost all of it.

“A 260% increase in lead volume changes the conversation,” she says. “Suddenly, we’re talking about what the business could achieve next and setting higher goals than have ever been hit before.”

She is building on that momentum with deeper lead qualification, easier booking, and automated follow-up, so the people inquiring get a more helpful experience and the team walks into each conversation better informed.

Keeping the human in marketing

“Every time I figure out a better way to do something, I spot 3 more things I want to improve,” Keri says. With AI moving as quickly as it is, the list keeps growing.

She has built AI-supported monitoring systems, in-depth reporting and analysis, and competitor creative analysis that shapes her recommendations and messaging. The systems make her faster and better informed. The work has taught her to be curious, but selective, about what is worth putting to work for clients.

Over the next few years, she plans to use AI for efficiency and deeper analysis while keeping Creative First Digital boutique true to its name. “Human judgment, humor, and street smarts will stay at the heart of how we bring ideas to life,” she says.

Putting “find my people” on the business plan

“I wish I’d put ‘find my people’ on the business plan right alongside ‘find my clients,’” Keri says. The right community gives her people to learn from, compare notes with, and get excited alongside. In a field that moves this quickly, those connections keep her sharp and make the whole thing less lonely.

Her advice for aspiring founders starts with referrals. “Give someone a reason to say, ‘You need to talk to her,’” she says. “Start with a problem you know how to solve.” She also builds by her own definition of success: challenging work, strong client results, and the freedom to be at school pickup.
