Kimberly Marcoux Built Melange de Blanc From Industry Insight

January 9, 2026

Please share a brief introduction and your business:

Hi, I’m Kimberly Marcoux. I’ve worked in the bridal industry on the wholesale side since 2007, spending years traveling, connecting with designers, and gaining a deep understanding of the market. Through that experience, I recognized a gap in the industry—one that was not only an exciting opportunity, but one I knew could truly elevate the way designers and retailers connect.

In 2018, I co-founded my first sales agency, and despite the uncertainty of starting something new, we experienced immediate and significant growth. That momentum inspired the launch of our second company in 2020: Melange de Blanc, a modern “pop-up” bridal trade show designed to bring fresh energy and accessibility to the market.

Both companies have since been featured in numerous press outlets, and I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come. What began as industry experience and travel fatigue turned into a vision, and ultimately, two thriving businesses that continue to evolve the bridal landscape.

Do you have a co-founder?

I do, though I’m currently in active litigation with her, so I may not be the best person to ask. At its best, our relationship was built on mutual trust, support, and grace—especially when life threw unexpected challenges our way. Communication was also key; we never shied away from difficult conversations.

Are you a mamaprenista?

Compartmentalization is key. I make a conscious effort to be fully present with my children on the weekends, which allows me to be comfortable with late nights during the week.

Take us back to when you launched? What was your marketing strategy?

I just used my relationships and made a ton of phone calls, text and emails

What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?

50/50 partnerships with a close friend is not always the best idea

What made you take the leap to start your own business?

What's your approach to work-life balance?

I do not have one but the goal is to soon!
