Busy mama of 2 littles, proud wife & founder of FoundHERS Society - a community where women in business can come together to connect, feel empowered and grow both personally & professionally!

Who are your customers?

Women in business of any kind! Whether you're just dreaming up your side hustle or a seasoned CEO, the FoundHERS Society has a place for you.

What was your background prior to starting your own business?

Real estate

What made you take the leap to start your own business?

Realizing how much I loved bringing women together to connect and collaborate, I had the vision of continuing this on a larger scale. After lots of thought and second guessing, I decided to follow my heart and run with it!

Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

Early on in life, no. It was really over the last handful of years that I had the desire to pursue my own thing and building something for myself.

Take us back to when you first launched your business; what was your marketing strategy to get the word out and did it go as planned?

The women in our community have been my biggest cheerleaders and the main reason we have seen so much growth is because of them voicing their own experiences with us and inviting their friends and team members to be a part as well. Word of mouth has been our biggest and most successful strategy and now I'm focusing on implementing more of a social media presence to attract a broader audience!

What is the biggest challenge you have encountered along the way so far and what have you learned from it?

My own self doubts. I struggle every day but the simple reminders from those closest to me to look back on how far I've come keep me going!

What accomplishment are the most proud of to date in your business?

The amount of women who have come up to me personally and told of what this group has done for them personally and/or for their business, has been my gauge on success! You can't put a number on the value people are getting from connecting with the right people.

Do you have any recent wins from the last year that you'd like to celebrate with our community?

We have evolved our membership structure to include 3 tiers. With this, it allows our members to have the option to meet them where they are at currently on their journey.

What's next for your business? What can we expect to see over the next few years?

We are going to expand out of Austin area and hopefully be nationwide! Woohoo!

What is your top productivity tip? 

Time blocking (and sticking to it - which is half the battle!)

On the flip side, how do you avoid burnout?

Change up my day, come up with new ideas and be around others who encourage me to keep pushing on!

What is your approach to work-life balance / integration?

There's no true "balance", you have to do what works best for you and what feels right in your own life. Sometimes it's 50/50 and sometimes there's a season where it's completely off balance, and that's okay, too!

What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?

How easy it was to connect to women all over who share similar values!

Are you a Mamaprenista? If so, please share your best advice for simultaneously managing a business and a family

Proud mama of 2 kiddos and I'm constantly struggling with how to do it all. Between getting them to and from sports, school, birthday parties, and so on - I find time and prioritize it to continue to move the needle on my business.

What is your favorite business tool or solution and why?

Canva! I love creating and getting new ideas and inspiration.

What advice do you have for aspiring Entreprenistas?

If you feel that tug in your heart telling you something feels right and to do it - listen & act on it! You truly never know until you try and you might miss out on something that you were truly meant to do (speaking from lots of experience here!)
