Sadie Ray of Swift Assist Creative on Helping Entrepreneurs Build Businesses That Run Smoothly Behind the Scenes

Sadie Ray is the Founder and Online Business Manager behind Swift Assist Creative, a business dedicated to helping entrepreneurs streamline operations and build systems that support sustainable growth. Through her work, Sadie partners with service providers and online business owners to manage store operations, organize backend systems, and implement processes that save time and reduce overwhelm.

After transitioning from a career as a wastewater treatment operator in a paper mill, Sadie launched her business with the goal of creating a flexible career that allowed her to work from home while raising her daughter. Today, Swift Assist Creative supports business owners who are ready to grow but need reliable operational support behind the scenes to make it happen.

Please share a brief introduction and your business:

I’m Sadie, founder of Swift Assist Creative, and I partner with entrepreneurs to help them build businesses that run smoothly behind the scenes. My work focuses on systems, store management, and operational support that saves time, reduces stress, and allows business owners to show up fully in their zone of genius.

I am a mom to a 2 year old girl, Talluelah, and she's my drive behind why I do this. I want to show her anything is possible if you put your heart and mind to it. We love to camp, hike and hang out on the river in the summer time!

Are you a mamaprenista?

Give yourself grace. Not every day will go as planned, and that’s okay. Learning to adjust and flow with the day instead of fighting it makes both business and motherhood more sustainable and enjoyable.

Take us back to when you launched? What was your marketing strategy?

Instagram was my strategy, I grew a small following pretty fast but no one that was an ideal client. I learned a lot but didn't go exactly how I thought it would.

Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

In a way yes but I felt stuck at my last job. So glad I took the opportunity and found what I love!

What accomplishments are you the most proud of to date in your business?

Being able to start saving for my daughter's future.

What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?

Networking is something you should be doing every week, a couple times a week if you can.

When hiring, what is your go-to interview question?

What does success look like for you in the next six months, and what’s currently standing in the way of getting there?

What did you do before starting your own business?

I worked in a paper mill as a wastewater treatment operator before I had my daughter. As soon as I found out I was pregnant I knew I wanted to be able to stay at home with her while still working so I took a leap of faith and so happy I did!

What made you take the leap to start your own business?

Having my daughter. I wanted to be home with her and also show her that we can be capable of almost anything we want if we are willing to put in the effort for it.

Do you have any recent wins?

I’m now in my second year of running my business, and the growth both personally and professionally has been incredible. Over the past year, I’ve refined my services, strengthened client relationships, and reached consistent $3K months while continuing to build momentum for future growth.

What's one app on your phone that you cannot live without?

Canva. I use it multiple times a day for all different reasons.

Who are your customers?

My ideal clients are service providers and online business owners who are ready to streamline their operations and grow, but need reliable support behind the scenes to make it happen.

What's your top productivity tip?

Stop trying to do everything yourself. Delegating or automating even small tasks can free up hours each week and allow you to focus on what actually grows your business.

What's your favorite business tool?

Simplero has become a favorite tool of mine because it combines courses, automations, and email marketing into one platform, helping business owners simplify their tech stack and run things more efficiently.

What's your approach to work-life balance?

Balance isn’t perfect every day, but I prioritize planning ahead and building systems that allow me to stay present with family while still showing up consistently for my clients.

How do you avoid burn-out?

Set clear work boundaries and protect your personal time, because sustainable success requires rest just as much as hustle.

What advice do you have for aspiring Entreprenistas?

If you are asking yourself "Am I ready?" or "Should I do this?" The answer is Yes. Start now, you'll never feel as ready as you want and the longer you wait the more likely you won't start. Start broken, start scared, just start. Also find a good group of people you can go to for advice and talk about life and business, networking is great to find like minded friends.

Now in her second year of business, Sadie Ray continues to grow Swift Assist Creative while helping entrepreneurs simplify their operations and focus on the work they do best. By building systems that support both business growth and family life, she is creating a path that reflects her values of flexibility, sustainability, and long term impact.
