Scale Profitably and Build Generational Wealth with Tina Sue Moser
November 24, 2025
Please share a brief introduction and your business:
We help established founders scale profitably and buy back their time by turning their business into a well-oiled, wealth-building machine. Our approach blends sharp business analysis with decades of hands-on experience. We identify the real constraints behind the chaos, fix them at the root, and re-engineer the business to serve the founder's life and legacy. Generational wealth isn’t reserved for the elite — it’s built by owners who align vision, structure, and financial strategy to make the business work for them, not because of them.
Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?
Actually no. I was raised in a very blue-collar family and community. Besides me, no one in my family is a business owner, even to this day. My decision was purely because the mother I wanted to be wasn't an option working a corporate job back in 1999. I'm very thankful remote working wasn't an option back then, or I likely would have never made the leap.
Are you a mamaprenista?
I was, but my kids are grown now. My advice comes from my mistake, and that is to always be grounded in who and why you are running the business for, and make sure they are your first priority.
Take us back to when you launched? What was your marketing strategy?
In my first business, it was a lot of educating the community about my services. Some call it gorilla marketing. Fast forward to today, my marketing strategy for Business Wealth Advisory is built solely on partnerships and results. I know when we provide transformation for our clients, they share with their friends and their network.
What accomplishments are you the most proud of to date in your business?
I'm a mom above all else, and I can't articulate how proud I am of my children. Neither are business owners, and they live modestly, but they are great human beings and very happy in life. I can't ask for more than that. In addition, I am very proud of the businesses I built and sold in the past. I am proud of how Business Wealth Advisory is on a mission to change the statistics in women-owned businesses, including reducing the business failure rate and increasing the stats of female-led businesses worth over $1Million upon exit.
What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?
The one thing I wish I knew in my first business was that I didn't need to know it all. As a matter of fact, you scale faster and smarter when you have mentors and support to keep from spending time on trial and error.
When hiring, what is your go-to interview question?
My biggest tip is don't rush the process. Only hire if you have someone who is willing to give that new employee the training and time they deserve to be the best employee they can be. I like to ask what they do for fun or their hobbies. That question throws them off a little bit because they likely prepared all the "businessey" questions. Once they open up about themselves, they are more relaxed and more willing to share their true personality.
What did you go before starting your own business?
I started my entrepreneurial journey when pregnant with my firstborn over 25 years ago. I made all the classic mistakes for the first 7 years in business. I spent too much time away from my kids as my business continued to grow, and finally, after missing yet another holiday, I forced myself to turn my business around and be able to scale profitably, without me. I got my time back while that business continued to grow, so I started other businesses at the same time. Due to building that first business to scale without me, I was approached with a 7-figure purchase in 2015 (which I accepted). I continued on my journey from there to help others do the same. Part of that journey was as a partner for a coaching firm that is 30Million in revenue and still growing. I have training in retirement planning, exit planning, and business protection strategies to help clients not only scale, but protect what they build. I do this today through Business Wealth Advisory.
What made you take the leap to start your own business?
My daughter was the first reason and both my children continue to be my motivation. My mission is to change the definition of generational wealth and it started with my own children. Generational wealth starts with education, not money.
Do you have any recent wins?
The recent evolution of Business Wealth Advisory has been a major milestone. We’ve clarified our core framework, refined our messaging, and aligned every part of the business around a single purpose — helping established entrepreneurs scale profitably, reclaim their time, and build generational wealth. This clarity has set the foundation for scalable growth and positioned us to serve 100 founders through our 6-month Freedom Framework by 2026.
What's one app on your phone that you cannot live without?
My calendar app - it keeps me on target as I put my personal and business projects blocked in my calendar. So I always know what I need to be focused on.
Who are your customers?
We work with established entrepreneurs who’ve built successful businesses but feel trapped by their own growth — too busy to scale, too tired to put in more time in, and unsure how to make it all run without them. We help them turn their business into a profitable, wealth-building business that gives them back control of their time, money, and future.
What's your top productivity tip?
Review the operations in your company through the lens of "The D's" at least 2x a year. The D's are: Delegate, Delete, Defer, Do and Dehumanize (automate)
What's your favorite business tool?
I love Zapier because it helps automate so many small things that a business owner would otherwise have to pay someone to do.
What's your approach to work-life balance?
Boundaries - knowing when to say no. Knowing when to say yes even when you don't really want to but know it will be good for me afterwards.
How do you avoid burn-out?
I have a great spouse who is also an entrepreneur, so we keep each other motivated and energized. I also remind myself that I teach others how to protect their time, so I have to take my own advice.
What advice do you have for aspiring Entreprenistas?
Understand your vision and what your north star is - because times will get tough and the road is windy, but if you can always come back to why you are building a business, you can get back on track. Simultaneously, don't start a business without a solid plan on how to make the business support your north star.
