Serena Napoli empowers individuals to achieve lasting health with Mazarine Wellness
September 7, 2025
Please share a brief introduction about yourself and your business
My name is Serena Napoli, and I founded Mazarine Wellness LLC to offer online health and wellness coaching to individuals. I am a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) as well as an alumna of Quinnipiac University, where I completed my undergraduate studies in marketing and my graduate coursework to obtain an MBA. My personal mission is to lead with authenticity, curiosity, and kindness which I strive to implement in my coaching. I am immensely passionate about health behavior change and supporting others on their health journeys. To best serve my clients, I am committed to continuously developing my professional knowledge and skills.
Who are your customers?
Mazarine Wellness’ customers are adults, in the U.S., who desire tailored guidance and support as they navigate their health journeys. They are people who want to close the gap between where they are and where they envision themselves. They are parents, corporate professionals, college students, teachers, healthcare workers, retirees, and more.
What was your background prior to starting your own business?
Prior to starting my own business, I worked for a media agency in Manhattan as well as in marketing for a dermatology group.
What made you take the leap to start your own business?
I had a strong desire to contribute to collective well-being.
Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?
I started to feel drawn to the idea of being an entrepreneur around the age of 17.
What is the biggest challenge you have encountered along the way so far and what have you learned from it?
The biggest challenge I have encountered has been navigating uncharted territory predominantly on my own because I am a solopreneur. I started and have been growing my business with little mentorship, so there is quite a bit to learn and solve along the way, which can be stressful at times. I have learned that stepping away from my work, such as going for a walk, helps me to think more clearly. Additionally, I have been learning who I can reach out to for support, where I can look for answers, and ultimately, if I need to build my resources.
What accomplishment are the most proud of to date in your business?
I am most proud that Mazarine Wellness offers evidence-based, client-centered coaching that meets the highest standard in the profession.
Do you have any recent wins from the last year that you'd like to celebrate with our community?
I became an NBC-HWC and launched Mazarine Wellness LLC!
What's next for your business? What can we expect to see over the next few years?
Over the next few years, you can expect to see a wider array of offerings and resources from Mazarine Wellness.
What is your top productivity tip?
My top productivity tip is keeping a master Excel file of what needs to get accomplished and when. Before every week starts, I pull out my priorities and plug them into time slots on my phone’s calendar.
On the flip side, how do you avoid burnout?
Self-care and community – a little can go a long way.
What is your approach to work-life balance / integration?
I take time to think about what I truly value and desire out of my life. Then, I consider what needs to be done to attain what that is. I list out my non-negotiable action steps and put them in my calendar when I know I’ll generally have time for them. Then, my work priorities go in. My life doesn’t always look as clean as my calendar. Something might take longer than I planned, I might have an unexpected social event and need to rearrange my evening, etc. To me, it is a fine dance between structure and flexibility. Though, I want to emphasize for anyone reading that we all have different values, and our personal values are bound to change over time, too. You know yourself best, and you’ll know when to reevaluate your approach to ensure it is optimal for you and your current situation.
What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?
I wish I had known the benefits of joining a community for founders like The Entreprenista League because I would have joined sooner. It has truly filled a gap in my business.
What's the one app on your phone you absolutely cannot live without and why?
My camera and photos apps! I am constantly screenshotting, taking quick, random pics, and saving memories.
What is your favorite business tool or solution and why?
My favorite business tool, at the moment, is Canva. It is incredibly user-friendly for those who don’t have a background in graphic design.
What advice do you have for aspiring Entreprenistas?
Be uncompromising in your values and open-minded in your approach.
