Twelve hours before Founders Weekend, Britney Glass still didn’t have a ticket. Now, with a reservation in hand, she walked into the airport and texted a friend. “I don’t know what I’m feeling right now, but I really feel like electricity is emitting from my body...I know I’m supposed to be in this room.”
She was right. The connections she made that weekend turned into clients, friendships, and a business idea she had been circling for years.
Britney Glass is a quality of life designer and the founder of Exceptional Life By Design, where she helps ambitious and highly qualified women take up the space they’ve worked so hard for. As a member of the Entreprenista League and the winner of June’s Member Connect challenge, she has spent her time in the community sharpening the idea that women don't just need to get into powerful rooms, they need to know how to work them. Her idea now has a name, The EnSuite, and applications are open.
“You can be in the room and not be speaking their language,” Britney says. “And language is more than the words that come out of your mouth. Language is a vibe. Language is connection. Language is even what you have on. Everybody needs to learn what I call the language of luxury.”
Here is a closer look at the business she created and the women she serves.
The woman she is building for
Britney works with women who already have the expertise and the track record. What they’re missing is the ability to make it land.
“My expertise is really helping women get the attention that they want in the moment,” she says. “A lot of the women that I work with have all the expertise and experience in the world. They don’t know how to actually position that in order for it to translate the way that they want it to, when they want it to.”
She describes the women she works with as: a powerhouse, ambitious, ready to lead. “I don’t think enough women actually claim that they’re a big deal,” she says. “You are an anomaly. You are an exception to the rule.”
The idea she is bringing to life
The EnSuite started as market research Britney did not know she was doing. She kept asking other founders about their conference experiences, and the same answers came back. “People were saying, I have leads, but I’m not really sure what to do with them, or I had leads and I never followed up,” she says.
“A lot of the time, conference-going women worry about what they’re going to wear and what they’re going to say,” she says. “They don’t know who they actually need to connect with and how to get the results they want out of these events.”
The gap was obvious. “You actually have to have a game plan before you hit the ground. You have to know how you’re going to connect your own dots.” The shape of her business has been sitting with her for years. “It’s almost like a baby I’ve been trying to birth, and I didn’t know what it was going to be.”
The charm school of business
Britney calls The EnSuite the charm school of business. It’s a 4-day residency for a small group of women who show up to a major event already knowing how to work it.
Ahead of the weekend, every woman works with a suite of experts, many of them Entreprenistas, to nail her strategy, style, and mindset. On the ground, she runs The Gauntlet, where she practices her positioning in front of a room and gets real-time feedback on her game before she takes it outside. Mornings open in the Style Suite, and the day moves through a debut, brunch at the insider’s table, and 2 takeover days at the events themselves.
Every woman leaves with a playbook and a wing woman. “Here are my actual goals for why I’m coming to this event, here’s who I’m going to meet, the conversations I’m going to have,” she says. Between sessions the group returns to the suite to debrief. “We’ll say, okay, how did it go? Who did you meet? And at the end, we’ll have a roundup of what results they created.”
Why the room is worth the investment
Conferences are not cheap, and most women do not get what they pay for. “These are big investments, 4 or 5-figure investments,” Britney says. “You need to know how to get an ROI on them.” Her framework goes beyond a good outfit and a stack of business cards.
Decide who you want to be
Ask Britney what most women get wrong and she points to speed. “People are always moving so fast,” she says, and in the rush they follow someone else’s playbook instead of their own. Her fix is a motto: “You always need to be in your model. Everybody has a model of operating, and you want your model to be very intentional.”
This kind of intention starts with a single decision. “You have to decide who you want to be,” she says. For Britney, that looks like refusing to shrink to pressure or hurry. “I take luxurious amounts of time and space for everything I do, and my people love that.”
What’s next for The EnSuite
The first residency launches in Los Angeles from September 17 to 20 and enrollment closes September 12. Miami Beach follows this winter, with Austin and the French Riviera on the calendar for 2027.
