October 23, 2025
Please share a brief introduction and your business:
My name is Jamie Alexander, and I am the CEO and founder of Living Well with Jamie, a holistic online fitness and wellness company that helps busy, high-performing women transform their health, mindset, and lifestyle from the inside out. As a Certified Online Fitness Trainer, author, and wellness advocate, I am passionate about empowering women to prioritize themselves, build healthy habits, and create lasting change both physically and mentally.
Through my signature Elite Transformation Accountability Program, I have helped women around the world lose weight, increase strength, and rebuild their confidence by focusing on sustainable fitness, balanced nutrition, and mindset growth. My business is built on the belief that true wellness begins when women choose to live well in mind, body, and soul. Living Well with Jamie has grown into a global community that supports women in every season of life, from new mothers to women navigating perimenopause and beyond. My mission is to help women thrive, not just survive, and to show that transformation is possible at any age or stage through faith, consistency, and support.
Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?
It’s funny because I honestly never saw myself becoming an entrepreneur. I had friends in college who always talked about starting their own businesses and being their own bosses, and I remember saying, “Not me, I like the security of a steady paycheck.” I thought I’d always work in leadership within the corporate world because that felt safe and predictable. But life has a way of surprising you. Once I started growing in my personal fitness journey and helping others do the same, I realized that I was meant to create something bigger.....something that aligned with my passion and purpose. Now, I can’t imagine doing anything else. Entrepreneurship has stretched me, grown me, and allowed me to make a real impact in people’s lives. And yes, I laugh sometimes when I think back to that girl who said she just wanted a paycheck....because look at me now.
What accomplishments are you the most proud of to date in your business?
I am most proud of my Elite Transformation Accountability Program being recognized as the Best Online Fitness and Wellness Program for Busy Women in 2024. This award means so much to me because it reflects the heart of my mission.....helping women create lasting transformation through fitness, nutrition, and mindset while balancing the demands of everyday life.
What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?
I wish I had known that it is okay not to have it all figured out. When I first started, I thought I needed to know every step before I began, but entrepreneurship is really about learning as you go. There is no perfect blueprint. You create it as you move forward. I have learned that clarity comes through action. The more you try, test, and adjust, the more confident and capable you become. I used to be afraid of making mistakes, but now I see them as part of the growth process. If I could go back, I would tell myself to trust the journey, take the leap sooner, and believe that even small steps forward are still progress. Every challenge teaches something valuable, and that is where the real transformation happens.
What did you go before starting your own business?
Before starting Living Well with Jamie, I worked in corporate leadership as a Store Director for a major retail company. In that role, I managed large teams, developed leaders, and learned the importance of organization, consistency, and accountability....all skills that now play a huge role in how I run my business and coach my clients. During that time, I was also balancing a growing family and began to experience firsthand how challenging it can be for busy women to prioritize their health. That season inspired me to turn my lifelong passion for fitness and wellness into something bigger. I became a Certified Online Fitness Trainer and launched my business to help other women who were just like me....ambitious, driven, and constantly pouring into everyone else, but ready to start pouring back into themselves. That decision changed everything and led me to the purpose-driven work I do today.
What made you take the leap to start your own business?
The decision to start my own business came from a deep desire to create balance in my life and to help other women do the same. While working as a Store Director in the corporate world, I loved leading teams and helping others grow, but I often found myself overwhelmed, exhausted, and struggling to prioritize my own health. I realized that many women around me were facing the same challenge......trying to succeed in their careers, care for their families, and still make time for themselves.
That realization sparked something in me. I wanted to build a business that not only helped women get fit but also taught them how to live well in every area of life. I took a leap of faith, became certified, and launched Living Well with Jamie. It started as a small passion project and quickly grew into my life’s purpose.....helping busy women achieve lasting transformation through fitness, nutrition, and mindset.
Do you have any recent wins?
This past year has been such a blessing and a season of growth for both me and my business. I’m proud to share that my company, Living Well with Jamie, was recognized with the Best Online Fitness and Wellness Program for Busy Women in 2024 for my Elite Transformation Accountability Program. I was also featured in CEO Weekly and became an Executive Contributor for Brains Magazine, where I write about holistic wellness and mindset for high-performing women. These opportunities have allowed me to expand my reach and share my message on a global platform. One of my biggest personal wins was helping a client in her 50s who was navigating perimenopause rebuild her health and confidence. By the end of her program, she had the resting heart rate of an athlete.....proof that it is never too late to transform your health. Each of these milestones reminds me that consistency, purpose, and passion truly create lasting impact.
What's one app on your phone that you cannot live without?
The one app I absolutely cannot live without is my Living Well with Jamie App. It is truly the heart of my business and the space where I connect most with my clients. Inside the app, I create and deliver all of my custom workout programs, track client progress, and share nutrition plans and recipes. It is more than just a fitness app.....it is a full wellness experience that keeps my clients supported, accountable, and motivated every single day. I also use it myself for my own workouts and tracking, so it is a huge part of my personal and professional routine. The Living Well with Jamie App allows me to make wellness accessible for busy women everywhere, and that is exactly why I cannot live without it.
Who are your customers?
My customers are busy, high-performing women who are ready to take back control of their health and well-being. Most of them are between the ages of 35 and 65 and are balancing demanding careers, family responsibilities, and personal goals. They are nurses, doctors, entrepreneurs, and professionals who give so much to everyone else but often struggle to make time for themselves. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, inconsistent, or frustrated because they have tried quick fixes that did not last. They want to feel confident in their bodies again, improve their energy, and create a sustainable lifestyle that fits their busy schedules. What connects all of my clients is their desire for balance, confidence, and lasting transformation. They are not just looking for a fitness plan; they want a supportive coach, accountability, and a holistic approach that helps them thrive in every area of life.
What's your top productivity tip?
My top productivity tip is to plan it out like a boss. I believe success starts with structure. Every Sunday, I take time to plan my week, meal prep, and organize everything from workouts and meals to business tasks and family time. When you schedule what matters, you make space for progress and peace. I also believe in protecting my energy as much as my time. I focus on the top three priorities each day instead of trying to do everything at once. Small, consistent actions done with intention always lead to big results.
What's your favorite business tool?
My favorite business tool is Trainerize, which powers my Living Well with Jamie App. It allows me to create customized fitness and nutrition plans, track client progress, and stay connected with my clients no matter where they are in the world. Trainerize has helped me streamline my business and deliver a high-quality, personalized experience to every woman I coach. I can upload workouts, design meal plans, and monitor progress in real time, which keeps my clients motivated and accountable. It has truly been a game changer for me because it allows me to focus on what I love most, coaching and building relationships..... while keeping everything organized in one place. It has helped me grow and scale my business efficiently while maintaining the personal touch that sets my programs apart.
What's your approach to work-life balance?
My approach to work-life balance is all about intentional integration. I do not believe balance means giving equal time to everything. Instead, it means being fully present wherever I am. When I am working, I give my best to my clients and my business. When I am with my family, I give my full attention to them. I have learned to create structure in my days through time blocking and planning, which helps me stay focused and organized. I also build in space for self-care, movement, and family time because those are the things that keep me grounded. As a wife, mother of three, and entrepreneur, I know there will never be a perfect balance, but there can be harmony. For me, it is about alignment.....making sure that my actions each day reflect my priorities and values. That is what true balance looks like.
How do you avoid burn-out?
I avoid burnout by prioritizing self-care and protecting my peace. My mornings are sacred to me. Every day, I start with quiet time to pray, reflect, and set my intentions before I take on the day. I also make it a priority to walk every morning. That time allows me to clear my mind, release stress, and connect with myself before I start serving everyone else. I have learned that when I take care of my mind and body first, I am able to show up as my best self for my family, clients, and business. My morning routine is my reset. It sets the tone for my energy, focus, and creativity. For me, avoiding burnout is not about doing less, it is about doing what fills my cup first so I can pour into others from a place of peace and purpose.
What advice do you have for aspiring Entreprenistas?
My biggest advice for aspiring entrepreneurs is to start before you feel ready and trust that you will figure it out along the way. There will never be a perfect time, and you will not have all the answers at the beginning......but clarity comes through action. Stay focused on your “why.” Entrepreneurship is a journey filled with highs and lows, and your purpose is what will keep you grounded when things get hard. Be willing to take risks, stay consistent, and remember that failure is not the opposite of success; it is part of it. Surround yourself with a supportive community, invest in your growth, and never lose sight of the people you are meant to serve. When you lead with heart, faith, and integrity, everything else will fall into place.
