Modeline Dupera empowers founders to elevate their digital presence with Her Way Solutions
September 6, 2025
Please share a brief introduction about yourself and your business
My name is Modeline Dupera, and I’m the Founder & CEO of Her Way Solutions, a boutique digital marketing agency. We specialize in helping businesses and brands cut through the digital noise with strategy-first social media, content, and marketing solutions. My mission is to give founders the clarity, confidence, and consistency they need to elevate their digital presence and attract aligned clients.
Who are your customers?
At Her Way Solutions, we proudly serve business owners and founders in all industries who are ready to elevate their digital presence. While our portfolio spans across different niches, from service-based entrepreneurs to e-commerce brands, what unites our clients is their commitment to growth and their desire for strategy-first marketing support.
What was your background prior to starting your own business?
My background is in finance, where I’ve spent the majority of my career and where I still currently work full-time. Balancing a nine-to-five while building Her Way Solutions has given me a unique perspective. I’ve learned discipline, structure, and the importance of clear strategy from my finance career, and I’ve applied those same principles to running my marketing agency. Even though my corporate path is in finance, my passion has always been in marketing, and launching Her Way Solutions allowed me to blend my analytical side with creativity and strategy.
What made you take the leap to start your own business?
I took the leap because I saw so many incredible businesses struggling to stand out online. I wanted to create a boutique agency that replaced guesswork with clarity and gave founders the confidence to show up with strategy and impact.
Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?
Yes, I’ve always known I wanted to be an entrepreneur! Even as a kid, I loved the idea of building something of my own. Now, I truly enjoy being my own boss (lol) and creating a business that gives me freedom while helping others grow theirs.
Take us back to when you first launched your business; what was your marketing strategy to get the word out and did it go as planned?
It’s funny you ask that because I actually started out as a blogger and back in those days, you had to know how to market yourself if you wanted to be seen. While researching how to promote my blog, I realized my true passion wasn’t just in creating content, but in the behind-the-scenes magic of marketing. That’s when it clicked for me: I loved building strategies that got people noticed. So when I launched Her Way Solutions, it felt natural — the fun part for me has always been the marketing itself, and that made the transition seamless.
What is the biggest challenge you have encountered along the way so far and what have you learned from it?
The biggest challenge I’ve faced so far has been navigating long stretches without clients, even after relaunching my business. It was discouraging at times because I knew I had the skills and strategies to serve others, but the results weren’t matching the effort yet. What I’ve learned is that entrepreneurship is a journey of persistence and faith, showing up consistently, building relationships, and trusting the process is just as important as the strategies you create. That mindset shift has given me resilience, and I know that consistency will eventually bring the right opportunities.
What accomplishment are the most proud of to date in your business?
One of the accomplishments I’m most proud of is having the courage to relaunch Her Way Solutions after taking a step back. It wasn’t just about restarting a business, it was about rebuilding with intention, premium positioning, and a clear strategy for the type of clients I truly want to serve. Since then, I’ve invested in myself, created signature service offerings, and started to gain traction in premium networks like Entreprenista. For me, that’s proof that resilience and clarity can open doors, and I’m proud of how far the agency has come.
Do you have any recent wins from the last year that you'd like to celebrate with our community?
Yes! One of my biggest wins this past year was unveiling a new logo and brand design for Her Way Solutions. It felt like more than just a visual update — it was a full refresh that aligned our look and feel with the premium, strategy-first services we provide. Having branding that finally matches the level of work we deliver has been such an empowering step forward, and I’m excited to carry this elevated identity into everything we do.
What's next for your business? What can we expect to see over the next few years?
As I continue building from my relaunch, my vision is to help countless businesses and brands grow their digital presence with strategy-first marketing. Over the next few years, I see Her Way Solutions expanding its reach, hiring talented creatives, and creating opportunities that support not just businesses but families as well. For me, it’s about growing a company that makes an impact both online and in people’s lives and I’m excited to see all that God has planned for this journey.
What is your top productivity tip?
Time blocking is a game changer. Whether you’re working from a to-do list or using a timer on your phone, assigning a specific block of time to each task keeps you focused and on track. It’s helped me tackle everything on my list without feeling overwhelmed and still end the day feeling accomplished.
On the flip side, how do you avoid burnout?
I’m a big believer in the concept of a ‘soft life’ not just as a trend, but as a practice. For me, that means prioritizing work-life balance in tangible ways: time blocking my schedule, being intentional about the number of clients I take on, and outsourcing when needed. I’ve learned that protecting my energy allows me to show up as my best self, both for my clients and in my own life. Entrepreneurship isn’t just about building a business, it’s also about enjoying the fruits of your labor.
What is your approach to work-life balance / integration?
For me, it’s less about balancing two separate worlds and more about creating harmony between them. I build my business in a way that supports my life, not the other way around. That means aligning my schedule with what matters most, making space for faith, family, and wellness, and running Her Way Solutions with systems that allow me to step back when needed. When my life feels aligned, I can show up in my business with energy and creativity.
What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?
I only joined Entreprenista a few weeks ago, so I’m still very new to the community. What I will say is that the membership orientation was incredibly helpful and it opened my eyes to all the features, perks, and ways to connect. I wish I had known sooner just how many resources and opportunities were available, because it’s clear this is the kind of community where you get out of it what you put in. I’m really excited to immerse myself, meet more incredible women, and take full advantage of everything this network has to offer.
When hiring, what is your go-to interview question?
My go-to question is: ‘What motivates you to do your best work?’ I’ve found that skills can always be developed, but understanding what drives someone, whether it’s creativity, collaboration, or making an impact, this tells me how they’ll show up within the culture of Her Way Solutions. It helps me see if their values align with ours, which is the most important foundation for building a great team.
If you've raised capital for your business already, what are some of your best tips or lessons learned?
I haven’t raised capital for Her Way Solutions. I’ve bootstrapped the business while balancing a corporate career in finance. That experience has taught me the importance of resourcefulness, reinvesting strategically, and making intentional financial decisions from the start. My lesson so far: whether you raise capital or not, clarity on your business model and a strong strategy are key to building something sustainable.
Are you a Mamaprenista? If so, please share your best advice for simultaneously managing a business and a family
I’m not a mom, but I have so much respect for the Mamaprenistas in this community who balance both. For me, my focus has been learning to balance a corporate career with entrepreneurship and my biggest advice is to give yourself grace, create structure that supports your lifestyle, and remember that your journey doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.
Do you have a co-founder? If so, how did you find the right one for you and what are your best partnership tips?
I don’t have a co-founder. I started Her Way Solutions on my own. What I’ve learned, though, is that even as a solo founder, you don’t have to do it all by yourself. Building strong partnerships through community, outsourcing, and collaborating with other creatives has been key. My best tip is to surround yourself with people whose strengths complement yours, so you can stay in your zone of genius while still moving the business forward.
What's the one app on your phone you absolutely cannot live without and why?
Honestly, Google Calendar. Between balancing my corporate career, running Her Way Solutions, and staying active in communities like Entreprenista, my schedule could easily get overwhelming. Having everything time-blocked and color-coded keeps me sane and ensures I make space for both business and life. Without it, I’d feel completely lost.
What is your favorite business tool or solution and why?
One of my favorite tools is Slack. As a CEO building out systems and a future team, communication and organization are everything. Slack allows me to keep conversations streamlined, projects organized, and collaborations efficient without getting lost in endless email threads. It makes team communication feel seamless and gives me the structure I need to manage multiple moving parts while still staying connected and in control.
What advice do you have for aspiring Entreprenistas?
My advice is to take full advantage of the benefits this community offers. You truly get out what you put in. Remember, joining was an investment in yourself and your business, so lean into it, make connections, and don’t look at it as an expense but as an opportunity. Even something as simple as a coffee chat can open doors you never imagined. This community is such a powerful space, and the more you engage, the more it will give back to you.
