As we’re all experiencing a challenging time, one of the things we all need is a sense of hope and a reminder of the power of positive thinking. Many of you may be aware of my experience with the challenges of infertility, pregnancy, loss, and then the birth of my daughter, Mollie Hope. Today, in a special episode, I share the full story in a conversation with Randi Zinn, founder of Beyond Mom and host of the Going Beyond podcast
In this episode, I sit down with Randi to share my fertility story. I talk about how, early on, I knew I wanted to be a mom. I discuss the different diagnoses I received throughout my journey, and I talk about the importance of treating the conditions that inhibit your fertility instead of simply trying to work around them. I talk about how sharing my story on social media empowered me and helped me to connect with an amazing support system, without which Mollie wouldn’t have made it. I note the importance of listening to your intuition, and I share the experience of the surgery I underwent to try to save both of my babies. I share the story of how Mollie was finally born, and I talk about the mentality of asking how I can turn every trial into something positive.
