5 Ways Community Can Be Your Greatest Visibility Strategy
Discover 5 ways community can become your most powerful visibility strategy and help women founders grow their brand, credibility, and opportunities.
January 31, 2026
Many founders think visibility comes from only PR campaigns or endless posting on social posting. One of the most powerful visibility strategies is simply showing up in your community.
Inside the Entreprenista League, hundreds of women founders now have immediate access to new opportunities by connecting and contributing. When you’re part of a community that values collaboration over competition, visibility and business growth becomes a natural outcome.
Here are five ways our members have leveraged the Entreprenista League to not only get visible and build their personal brand, but make meaningful relationships that lead to even more opportunities from speaking at events, podcasts and media features.

1. Thought Leadership Starts With Contribution
Here’s the thing: you’re already an expert. You don’t need to wait for media coverage to step into your role as a thought leader. Start by sharing what you know with your community.
Melissa Armstrong, founder of SteadHand Accounting & Advisory, began by contributing content to Entreprenista.com as part of our Expert Council. This positioned her as a trusted voice and led to multiple new business opportunities, with potential clients feeling like they already knew her before the first call.

2. Collaboration Amplifies Your Reach
Collaboration can act as a multiplier for your visibility. With over 200 members hosting podcasts, the Entreprenista League offers a unique platform for women founders. Whether it’s sharing expertise, co-hosting episodes or featuring each other’s work, every conversation becomes an opportunity to amplify our businesses together.
Carrie Kerpen, founder of The Whisper Group, is a perfect example. Through her engagement in the community and our partnership with Alibaba, she led the Agency Owner Power Group and was invited to speak on the main stage at the Alibaba Co-Create Conference in front of more than 5,000 people.

3. Saying Yes Creates Opportunity
Opportunities come to those who step forward. So put yourself out there, join panels, guest on podcasts, lead workshops or host local meetups. Growth happens when you say yes, even to opportunities outside your comfort zone.
Ingrid Read, founder of Grow With Community, received the opportunity to become the co-host of the podcast Startups in Stilettos. Because she showed up, said yes to showing up inside the community, she became top of mind for this opportunity. This helped her to grow her client base through introductions to guest speakers and collaborations inside the community.

4. Recognition Raises Credibility
Winning an award can help women founders build credibility and authority, opening doors to new clients, partnerships, funding and other opportunities. That’s why we created the Entreprenista 100 Awards, recognizing members for their achievements and contributions. Natalie Rosado, founder of Tampa Counseling Place, was named an Entreprenista 100 Award Winner in 2023. After receiving the award, she was featured in over 35 publications including TIME, Vogue, HuffPost and The Today Show. She also was invited to speak on her local news channel and was nominated for other awards in her field.

5. Community Keeps You Consistent
Building visibility is never a one-time effort. A strong community keeps you accountable, motivated and engaged even when your schedule is packed. By consistently showing up, sharing your expertise and making introductions, you create momentum over time.
Natasha Walstra, founder of Nearpoint Strategies, has made appearances on multiple members’ podcasts, hosted Office Hours inside our Entreprenista community sharing her expertise on using Linkedin to grow your business, was invited to become an Entreprenista Approved service and part of our Expert Council and has generated over 6-figures in revenue, all from staying consistent inside the community.
Your Next Step: Show Up and Get Seen
To grow your business, people need to see you. That means showing up virtually, offering value and investing time in connections. Here are three action items you can start implementing today:
- Host or attend a local Entreprenista meetup to build relationships and thought leadership opportunities locally.
- Leverage the podcast database to get featured on fellow members’ shows and share your story.
- Apply to join the Entreprenista Expert Council to contribute content and position yourself as a thought leader.
Visibility is created and compounds every day by being part of a community that amplifies your work and supports your growth.
