Please share a brief introduction and your business:

I'm Corine, the founder of CFO - Corine Finance Organization, but long before I built a business, I was the kid who always tried to understand how money works, simply because I didn’t have what other kids around me had. That experience shaped my life and sparked my biggest passion: helping people understand money in a simple, practical, and empowering way. Today, I channel that passion into helping SMB owners gain real clarity around their numbers and feel confident running their companies. I also wrote a finance book for kids, “Money Secrets Every Kid Should Know,” so children can learn the lessons I wish someone had taught me when I was young. In my business, I provide:

Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

A part of me always knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur, but it took me a long time to build the courage to actually go for it.

I spent 8 years working in the financial field, holding a variety of roles, including serving as a CFO for several companies

What made you take the leap to start your own business?

I wanted to give business owners the financial clarity they weren’t getting. After years in finance and serving as a CFO, I realized I could make a bigger impact by building my own business, one that makes the financial side simple and empowers entrepreneurs to grow with confidence.

Do you have any recent wins?

One of my biggest wins this past year was writing and publishing a financial literacy book, “Money Secrets Every Kid Should Know.” It felt like giving a gift to the little girl I once was, and knowing I can impact so many kids makes me grateful and excited every single day.

SMB owners in the service-based space earning between $1M and $30M

What's your top productivity tip?

1. Plan before you act- it’s always easier to prevent problems than to fix them later.
2. Track your working hours- just like you know the profit per unit for a product, in a service-based business you must know the profit per hour.
3. Manage your cash flow- you can be successful on paper, but it won’t help if you don’t have the cash to cover payroll when it’s due.
