Please share a brief introduction and your business:

Hi, I'm Jessie! Marketing strategist who loves helping e-commerce brands with product launches, customer communications and loyalty strategies. Have lived in 54 different countries over the last 8 years, embracing a digital nomad lifestyle. Travel recs, I gotchu! :)

Happy Brand Company is a marketing and accountability coaching business that supports e-commerce/product-based founders in building visibility, connection, and steady revenue through authentic marketing.

Business began as a classically trained graphic design practice. For years, that work was steady and fulfilling. Then something shifted in 2025. Was it the rise of many AI tools that build logos, websites, pitch decks for brands faster than a hired graphic designer? I didn't have time to think AI was out to steal my job - it was! I needed to make a pivot fast! I planned to turn my 14 years of specialized experience in strategic marketing and design into a coaching program. It actually stemmed from a dream my husband had, where he experienced a "Disneyland for Women". Where they could get everything needed to run a successful business, while having a bunch of fun.

I first experimented with a generous beta group to test the content and group structure. I feel more comfortable in the conductor's chair now, and am learning about the psychology of running a cohort. There is truly nothing better than supporting and celebrating women business owners!

Take us back to when you launched? What was your marketing strategy?

My husband is a LinkedIn marketing educator, so I started there. Messaging marketing agencies in the hopes they needed an overflow designer to help their in-house staff. I still have a few clients to this day from those first reach out messages on LinkedIn.

Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

No, I didn't realize (or maybe believe) this was a potential pathway for me. I was actually told I wasn't an entrepreneur by a so-called mentor. :/

What accomplishments are you the most proud of to date in your business?

One would be that I have been able to successfully run my business from 54 countries and travel full-time.

What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?

How important a community is!

What did you do before starting your own business?

Worked full-time as a graphic designer + Starbucks barista.

What made you take the leap to start your own business?

Freedom! Was planning my wedding, working a full-time job + freelancing, and one of them had to go... Spoiler alert: it was a full-time job. This decision then allowed my husband and I the ability to live a digital nomad life. We have been working and traveling abroad full-time for 8 years now.

Do you have any recent wins?

Yes! On week 9 of 10 of my first ever paid coaching cohort. The three ladies in this group are so special to me. To see their confidence and progress grow from week-to-week is extraordinary! I feel so grateful to be with them on their journey. They keep asking what's next, so it's a good push for me to figure that out. I am learning so much!

Who are your customers?

Product-based founders, I have found a sweet spot with founders who have been in business 10 years, and wondering what's next for them.

What's your top productivity tip?

I just played a "momentum steak" game with my coaching group. It was a great way to keep one business goal in mind all week, and complete one manageable task each day that would move the businesses closer to the goal.

What's your favorite business tool?

I love email marketing so I would have to say Klaviyo. And Canva.

What's your approach to work-life balance?

I'll admit it, I am a workaholic (filling this out on a Saturday!) but I really enjoy what I do. At least one day off to play / enjoy.

How do you avoid burn-out?

Walks, lots of walks. And celebrating small wins :)

What advice do you have for aspiring Entreprenistas?

Mentorship. Seek out someone who is crushing it in something you'd like to do and reach out. The other is, don't be afraid to put yourself out there, and keep trying.
