Please share a brief introduction and your business:
Hi, I’m Lya Rosemin, a strategy and operations professional with a background in international business and early-stage execution. I support founders and growing teams by bringing structure to ideas — helping translate strategy into clear plans, organized workflows, and measurable progress.
My work sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and marketing, where I focus on research, coordination, and execution support that allows teams to move efficiently and make informed decisions. Fluent in French, I bring a global perspective and strong cross-cultural communication skills to my work. I’m especially drawn to environments where discipline, clarity, and intentional execution drive long-term growth.
Take us back to when you launched? What was your marketing strategy?
Because I’m still in the early stages, my marketing strategy focused on clarity and relationships rather than scale. I leveraged my network, direct outreach, and LinkedIn to communicate my positioning and connect with early-stage founders. The strategy is still evolving, but it has gone as planned by helping me validate my services and refine my messaging early on.
Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?
No — entrepreneurship wasn’t always my original plan. However, as I evaluated the current economic landscape and my own strengths, I saw an opportunity to be proactive rather than wait for the “perfect” role. Building my own path allowed me to apply my skills immediately, stay adaptable, and create momentum while continuing to grow professionally.
What accomplishments are you the most proud of to date in your business?
At this stage, I’m most proud of having the confidence to take initiative and begin building intentionally. Launching my business, joining Entreprenista, and actively putting myself in rooms where I could learn, connect, and build relationships were important early milestones. Those steps required discipline and courage, and they laid the foundation for continued growth and momentum.
What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?
I just joined, but I already wish I had known how welcoming and inspiring this community is—it’s energizing to connect with so many driven women.
When hiring, what is your go-to interview question?
What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned in your personal or professional life, and how has it influenced the way you work?
What did you do before starting your own business?
Before starting my business, I built a foundation in international business and gained hands-on experience through internships and project-based roles supporting strategy, operations, and marketing initiatives. I worked closely with teams on research, coordination, and execution, which sharpened my ability to bring structure to ideas and support efficient decision-making in fast-moving environments.
What made you take the leap to start your own business?
What led me to start my own business was recognizing a clear need for structured execution support among early-stage founders and growing teams. Through my experience supporting strategy, operations, and marketing initiatives, I saw how often strong ideas stalled without organization, follow-through, or clear next steps. Starting my own business allowed me to apply my strengths in structure, research, and execution while continuing to learn alongside the founders and teams I support.
Do you have any recent wins?
Over the past year, my wins have centered around building momentum and clarity. Graduating with a degree in International Business, launching my business, and beginning to work directly with founders and early-stage teams have been meaningful milestones. I’ve also been intentional about investing in the community by joining Entreprenista, expanding my network, and continuing to refine my positioning as I grow.
What's one app on your phone that you cannot live without?
ChatGPT—I use it for everything from brainstorming ideas to solving problems quickly. It’s like having a personal assistant in my pocket.
Who are your customers?
Early-stage founders, entrepreneurs, and growing teams who need structured support to turn ideas into clear plans and consistent execution.
What's your top productivity tip?
My top productivity tip is to tackle the hardest tasks first. No matter how long they take, getting them done early frees your mind and energy for everything else. Procrastinating only makes the task loom larger, draining focus and motivation.
What's your favorite business tool?
LinkedIn is my favorite business tool because it allows me to build professional relationships, stay informed about industry trends, and discover new career and collaboration opportunities. It’s a powerful platform for networking and continuous learning.
What's your approach to work-life balance?
I don’t have a strict balance—I respond to my energy and focus on completing key tasks each day.
How do you avoid burn-out?
I’m always in go mode, so burnout hits sometimes. On those days, I focus on doing at least one small productive thing—like the gym, answering emails, or praying—to stay grounded.
What advice do you have for aspiring Entreprenistas?
Don’t give up too soon. Success takes time, and challenges are part of the journey. Stay consistent, keep learning, and trust that your efforts will pay off.
