Liz is the Founder and CEO of Cool Fire Inc, a digital platform engineering firm serving businesses where the website or application isn't a marketing checkbox but the engine their operation runs on. Since 2005, her team has navigated every major shift along the way. Mobile. The CMS wars. The move to cloud. And now AI. Cool Fire is still standing and still shipping, which is rare in an industry that reinvents itself every few years.
With a BS in Computer Science, she leads a senior engineering team serving businesses from growing startups to large enterprises through complex builds, migrations, integrations, multilingual projects, and custom development.
Cool Fire was built around the belief that businesses, given the right platform and the right team, consistently become more than they set out to be. Watching that happen for clients is the reward.
Her writing makes the complex world of digital platforms and AI approachable, turning technical decisions into practical guidance that helps business owners move forward with clarity and confidence. The proud mom of four grown children and a grandmother, Liz lives in Florida with her husband Joe, Cool Fire's CTO, their two very large dogs, and four kitty cats. She is happiest on the water or off on a new adventure.
