How Sandra Brown Built Kreative Kidz Agency to Bring Concierge Childcare to Busy Families, Hotels, and Events
April 27, 2026
Meet Sandra Brown, founder of Kreative Kidz Agency, a concierge-style childcare service providing trusted, on-site care for busy families, professionals, hotels, and events. A mom of four and longtime childcare expert, Sandra built the agency on a foundation of firsthand experience, having previously owned and operated a highly sought-after family daycare where she learned how much working parents rely on care that truly shows up.
She launched Kreative Kidz Agency because she knew what it feels like to be a working parent searching for childcare you can actually trust, and she wanted to build a system that finally reflects how families live. Today the agency partners with families, hotels, and organizations to deliver safe, engaging, vetted care on site, the kind that lets a parent walk into a meeting, an event, or a hotel stay without the background hum of worry. The recognition has followed: Kreative Kidz Agency was named a Best of Business Rate winner in 2024, ranking in the top three in its category as a growing agency.
Please share a brief introduction and your business:
Hi, I’m Sandra Brown, a mom of four, childcare expert, and the founder of Kreative Kidz Agency. We are a concierge-style childcare service that provides trusted, on-site care for busy families, professionals, and events.
I started my business based on my own experience as a working parent, understanding how challenging it can be to find reliable, high-quality childcare. Today, we partner with families, hotels, and organizations to deliver safe, engaging childcare experiences led by vetted caregivers, so parents can show up fully with peace of mind.
Do you have a co-founder?
I don’t currently have a co-founder, and that decision has been very intentional for this season of my business.
Building Kreative Kidz Agency has required a clear vision and strong leadership, and I’ve focused on establishing that foundation independently. However, I do believe in the power of collaboration and have been very strategic about surrounding myself with the right support: mentors, advisors, and a strong team.
My best advice is that whether you have a co-founder or not, alignment is everything. Anyone you bring into your business at a high level should share your values, vision, and long-term goals. The right partnership should feel like an extension of your mission, not a compromise of it.
Are you a mamaprenista?
Yes, I’m a proud Mamaprenista, and my best advice is to put your family first.
Your business can grow, pivot, and evolve, but the time you have with your family is irreplaceable. When your home is grounded, and your children feel supported, it creates the foundation for everything else to thrive.
I’ve learned to build my business around my life, not the other way around. That means creating systems, asking for help, and not being afraid to lean on support, because you don’t have to do it all alone.
When your family is a priority, your success becomes more meaningful and sustainable.
Take us back to when you launched? What was your marketing strategy?
When I first launched my business, my marketing strategy mainly consisted of posting on social media. I quickly realized that posting on social media alone would not take me very far. At the time, I didn’t have a clear plan in place, but as my business continued to grow, I became more intentional about developing a structured marketing strategy to better reach and serve my audience.
Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?
Throughout my adult years, I would say yes. I’ve always had a desire to create something of my own and build something meaningful that reflects my passion and purpose.
What accomplishments are you the most proud of to date in your business?
One of the accomplishments I’m most proud of is being recognized as a Best of Business Rate winner in 2024 as a childcare agency. Even more rewarding is that, as a growing agency, we ranked among the top three. It’s a reflection of the quality of care we provide and the trust we’ve built with families in such a short period of time. This recognition has pushed me to be more intentional about how I market and grow my business.
What is one thing you wish you had known when you started your Entreprenista journey?
One thing I wish I had known when I started my Entreprenista journey is that clarity comes through action, not perfection. In the beginning, I spent a lot of time trying to get everything “just right” before moving forward. But I’ve learned that real growth happens when you start, adjust, and keep going.
I also wish I had fully understood the importance of building the right relationships early on. Your network, mentors, and community can open doors, provide guidance, and support you in ways you simply can’t do alone.
Entrepreneurship is a journey of evolution, and the sooner you embrace that, the more confident and aligned you become in building something meaningful.
When hiring, what is your go-to interview question?
My go-to interview question for every caregiver is: “What motivated you to pursue a babysitting position with Kreative Kidz Agency?”
This question helps me understand their “why.” I’m not just looking for experience—I’m looking for individuals who genuinely love working with children and are passionate about being positive role models. The families we serve trust us with what matters most to them, so it’s essential that every caregiver brings both heart and intention to the role.
What did you do before starting your own business?
Before founding Kreative Kidz Agency, I owned and operated a successful, highly sought-after family daycare. That experience gave me a strong foundation in childcare, parent relationships, and creating safe, nurturing environments for children.
What made you take the leap to start your own business?
I was drawn to the freedom of being my own boss and the ability to build something on my own terms. More importantly, I wanted to create a system that truly works for families—one that provides reliable, high-quality childcare while giving parents the support they need to balance their lives.
Do you have any recent wins?
One of my recent wins was being accepted into the Dr. Nancy Grasmick Leadership Institute’s Professional Leadership Program for Women and Allies. Although I wasn’t able to attend, it was truly an honor to be selected. It meant a lot to know that my work is being recognized and that I’m moving in the right direction as both a leader and a business owner.
What’s one app on your phone that you cannot live without?
One app I absolutely cannot live without is ChatGPT.
As a business owner and mom, it helps me streamline everything, from writing emails and creating content to organizing ideas and solving problems in real time. It’s like having a strategic partner in my pocket, allowing me to move faster, stay creative, and operate more efficiently throughout the day.
It has truly become an essential tool in how I manage both my business and daily life.
Who are your customers?
My customers are busy working parents, professionals, and families in need of reliable, high-quality childcare. I also serve event hosts, hotels, and organizations seeking to provide on-site childcare for their guests or attendees.
What’s your top productivity tip?
My top productivity tip is staying organized and being intentional with my time. I prioritize my tasks each day and focus on what will move my business forward, while also giving myself the structure and flexibility needed to manage both my business and family life.
What’s your favorite business tool?
My favorite business solution is my caregiving team.
They are the heart of Kreative Kidz Agency, supportive, reliable, and always ready to show up when needed. In a business like mine, where trust and consistency are everything, having a team that genuinely cares makes all the difference.
Their dedication not only supports our families but also allows me to confidently grow the business, knowing we are consistently delivering the level of care and professionalism our clients expect.
What’s your approach to work-life balance?
My approach to work-life balance is centered around integration rather than separation. As a mom and business owner, I’ve learned that trying to “balance” everything perfectly isn’t always realistic. Instead, I focus on creating systems and support that allow both my personal life and business to thrive together.
I prioritize what matters most in each season, give myself grace when things aren’t perfect, and lean into the same support I provide to other families—reliable, high-quality childcare. That support allows me to be fully present, whether I’m showing up for my children or leading my business.
At the end of the day, work-life integration for me means building a life where I don’t have to choose between being a present parent and a driven entrepreneur. I’ve created a way to do both with intention.
How do you avoid burn-out?
I avoid burnout by being intentional about rest and setting clear boundaries. As a mom and business owner, I’ve learned the importance of taking time to recharge so I can show up fully for both my family and my business. Creating that balance allows me to stay focused, present, and consistent.
What advice do you have for aspiring Entreprenistas?
My advice for aspiring Entreprenistas is to go slow. Entrepreneurship is not a race.
Stay dedicated to your mission and the problem you’re solving. It’s easy to get caught up in comparison or feel pressured to move quickly, but sustainable success takes time, intention, and consistency.
Focus on building a strong foundation, trust the process, and give yourself the space to grow into the business you’re creating.
Sandra’s story is a reminder that the strongest businesses are often built by founders who have lived the problem, and that the trust parents place in childcare, once earned, quietly compounds into something much bigger. We are so excited to have her in the Entreprenista community and cannot wait to watch Kreative Kidz Agency continue to grow.
